Catherine of Aragon (divorced)Catherine of Aragon was the first of many of King Henry VIII's wives. Together the marriage lasted 24 years. This was longer than twice the other 5 marriages combined! Although the two's marriage lasted quite a while, King Henry soon got very angry at Catherine and requested a divorce because she was not able to give him a baby boy insted of a girl. Finally after a couple years, the church granted a divorce between Catherine and King Henry. But the bad news, king Henry VIII then lost connection from the Catholic Church because they were not to happy about the divorce.

Anne Boleyn (bEHeaded)Anne Boyleyn was the women King Henry VIII fell in love with while he was married to Catherine of Aragon. She, herself engaged/almost married to man named King Henry Percy, until she was caught by the eye of King Henry VIII. They soon got married after long 7 years of King Henry trying to get a divorece from Catherine of Aragon. The two were married for a good 3 years before things started to go downhill. First, Anne was only able to give Henry a girl, (soon to be the famous Queen Elizabeth), not a boy. He was very angry about this, but did not kill her for it. She was later accused for witch craft, and was executed on the 19th of May 1536.

Jane Seymour (died)Jane Seymour was the third wife of King Henry VIII. After Ann Boleyn was executed May 19, 1536, the two,(Jane and King Henry), fell in love and got married just 11 days after Ann's execution. They were very happy together, and soon Jane got pregnant. On October 12, 1537, came the day King Henry VIII had been waiting for, for quite some time. Jane Seymour gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Edward VI. Sadly, Jane died 9 days after the birth due to pureperal fever.
